This is the third and final post in the contributors series on Pinterest. Rachel and Julie have already had a lot to share in this series. Mainly picking on my thousands of Pins, now totaling 8,131 to be exact, but also sharing some fun observations.
Since I get picked on for my huge number of pins, I have to take a second to pick on Julie for her lack of pins! She has a total of 267 pins on her 17 boards. The least amount being 4 on the “Grown Up” board. But that’s just Julie. She’s pretty carefree and laid back and not concerned with growing up! She’s much more focused on living for today and enjoying time with her kids. On her “kids” board you can find all kinds of fun activities to do with the kids and some great ones on parenting too. Anyone that is concerned with reading and learning about parenting is probably already doing a good job of it. And she is. Julie is a great mom and puts effort in to making her time with them memorable and fun.
A little more of a digital hoarder like myself, Rachel has a total of 324 pins on 30 boards. She has her boards broken down in to more specific topics. Like Julie, I enjoyed her “tried it, liked it” board. Although there are only recipies on it. This tells me she cooks a lot and is awlays on the look out for a new recipes. It might be a challenge for her once I discovered the “foods Eli can eat” board. Since Rachel has shared before about his food allergies, I know that this is something she is always searching for. She is vigilant about making sure he has variety in his diet even though it may be limited. She also has a parenting board, and while it only has one pin, I expect to see this grow with time. She is very dedicated to being the best mom she can be and it is one of the things I love about her!
I would like to add a side note about our newest contributor Jamie. She is one of my favorite people to follow on Pinterest. She has set up several boards where I share as a contributor. Did you know you could do that? It’s pretty cool so be sure to try it! So all of my 53 boards are not all just mine. I share in them with a community of others that inspire me. Which is, after all, what Pinterest was after in the first place.
I challenge you to start a board and ask your friends to share in it with you! I would love to know what boards you are starting or if you currently contribute to anyone’s boards.by
