This weekend was the perfect weekend to visit a local pumpkin patch. The weather was absolutely perfect, with a hint of crisp to the air and beautifully sunny. We decided to take the opportunity to visit Southern Belle Farm in McDonough, Georgia. The drive for us was about 45 minutes with only a touch of traffic through the main streets of McDonough. The price tag for admission at Southern Belle was a bit rich for our taste at $14/person 3 and over. Thankfully, both the Goober and the Squish are still under 3! However, that fee provided unlimited access to all the attractions, like the corn maze, inflatable jumping pillow, and the cow train. The pumpkin patch, food, and flower picking cost additional fees. Overall, we enjoyed our time, but we will be on the hunt for another local place that is slightly less expensive. Uncle Bob’s in Newnan is one we hope to check out soon.
You can see from our pictures though, that despite the disappointment in price, we all had a blast.
