It’s been a hot summer and what better way to cool off than with an afternoon at the pool or beach? Sounds great, right?? At least until you start packing up all the supplies it will take to survive the trip! Just like Rachel talked about here, it takes a lot of “stuff” to get to the pool and back. I have three kids, so that means three towels, three swim masks, and three toys to pack. I also need to take a towel, sunblock, snacks, keys, wallet and phone. While I had considered getting a small bag for each kid to use, past experience has taught me that I will end up carrying 3 small bags plus my bag by the end of the day….not something I want to do after a long day at the pool!! Thankfully I found a great beach bag with enough room for everything we need to pack AND it is water resistant. The beauty of that is when we are ready to head home we can put our wet stuff in the bag and I don’t have to worry about it making a wet mess in the car! Pretty and practical? Yes, please!
I purchased my bag at a local event where I met Joanna Latham, who is a Thirty-One consultant. Joanna is a mom to two young men who keep her busy, along with her husband, a full-time job and her work with Thirty-One.
