Easter is April 20th this year, and it will be here before we know it! I”m hoping if it”s on your radar, you just might find time to incorporate a few of the ideas in this post into Easter/spring traditions for your family!
Last year, I shared some of my family”s Easter traditions on this blog. We always dye eggs, decorate cookies, get baskets from the Easter Bunny, and go to church. When my children were younger, we had Easter egg hunts, made Resurrection Cookies and Empty Tomb Rolls, and decorated “Easter Trees.”
My favorite childhood book was The Enchanted Egg, so it should come as surprise that one of my favorite Easter activities, which takes extended crafting and preparation time, is making “Enchanted Eggs.” This link gives you information on how we made the egg pictured above in the cover photo, shown with my great-niece. There are links to directions and more photos in the blog post.
