Meet My Diaper Bag

I spent quite a bit of time perusing the internet for diaper bags and found many cute options, but finally decided to go with this Thirty One bag I received as a gift.  I like the pattern- brown pin dots- a lot and think it is cute, but not girlie…which I wanted, since my baby is a boy. So far the phrase ‘On The Go’ embroidered in light blue fits us to a ‘T’.

The first small photo is a top down view.  The only complaint I have about this bag is that there is no way to close it.  Sometimes when I go to retrieve it from the back seat, items spill out, But it is plenty spacious and seems VERY sturdy.

The second photo is a side view and one of my favorite features.  There is a mesh pocket on each end of the bag and two other pockets on each side.  I have all kinds of smaller items tucked in these pockets so I don’t have to go digging around in the big compartment to find them.

The third photo is not of my diaper bag, but of one of my must-have items that I keep inside.  It is a little pouch that holds a small container of wipes, a diaper, and a tube of diaper cream.  I also throw in a plastic bag for disposing of the dirty diaper, or use it to carry my cloth diaper home.  I use this little pouch when I am running into the grocery store and don’t have a need for the entire diaper bag.  I also used it when we were traveling.  It is easy to grab and take into a restroom for a quick diaper change on the go.

What kind of diaper bag do you use?  What criteria did you use to pick your diaper bag?

I had that same style diaper bag! I loved it too, except for the fact that you couldn’t close it. I also loved that it was roomy enough for all the cloth fluffiness 🙂 I chose my current diaper bag on the fact that it closed, and had enough pockets for everyone’s drinks 🙂
