I know you probably use Pinterest, if not, here is a sneak peak of what”s available on Pinterest! If you do pin, you probably enjoy pinning recipes to try “someday!” Have any of the recipes you”ve found become family favorites?
I have several new “go to” recipes from Pinterest. I want to share some of my favorites with you. I asked other Coweta Fayette Families contributors to share their favorites as well! You”ll probably want to bookmark this post, and come back to it when you want to try something new! There”s something for everyone on our recipe boards!
Mr. Bud”s Candy is shown above. It”s easy-peasy to make in the crockpot. Just dump all the ingredients into the crockpot. You will have time to do other things while your candy makes itself! Then, when everything is melted, stir and drop little mounds onto waxed paper to harden. I”ve made this recipe for parties and gifts multiple times! The photos show PART of one batch of candy. Have plenty of pans or counter space available. This recipe makes a TON of candy! Click the photo for the link for Donna Brown”s original recipe for Mr. Bud”s Candy on Just A Pinch!
Guess you”ll be able to tell I”m a casino “chocoholic,” since all but one of the recipe photos feature chocolate! Be sure to keep an extra jar of peanut butter and a container of cake frosting on hand. Those two ingredients melted in the microwave make almost instant fudge! The original recipe is from Real Mom Kitchen.
Another favorite, and one of my “most used” Pinterest recipes is chicken strips cooked with a spice mixture that my family loves! Leftovers are great I like to define detoxing loosely, more as a day-to-day undertaking, rather than an intense period or vale perma clean that “cleanses,” and that won’t help much once you stop. chopped for chicken salad or served on salads. The recipe is from The Recipe Crayon Box.
Below is the photo for my Chocolate Lava Cakes made with a brownie mix! You can make them ahead, and leave them in the fridge until you want to microwave them. My photo isn”t as appetizing as the original one on my Pinterest Board (since my jars were too big, and I didn”t garnish), but they TASTE amazing!
Pinterest: PINNED IT, TRIED IT! features more recipes (and other things) I”ve tried. Most I liked, some I didn”t! The Baked Chicken Parmesan is amazing! My family loves the Spicy Sausage Pasta and the Cherry Salad, which freezes well.
Rachel”s “Tried it, Liked It” Board has a number of delicious looking recipes!
Chrissy shared several links. Here are her “Foodie Stuff-Dinners” Board, Pot Roast Sliders, Sausage & Cream Cheese Pinwheels, Cayenne Rubbed Chicken with Avocado Salsa, and Nutella Brownies (YAY, another chocolate recipe to try!)
Allie shared several favorites from her “Been There, Tried That” Board: Petite Lasagnas, Garlic Shrimp with Basil, Tomatoes, & Peppers, and Hot Cocoa on a Stick, pictured below, which is one recipe I can”t wait to try! Click the Photo to link to the original post.
We”d love for you to share this post, and Coweta Fayette Families Blog with your friends!
