Does your family ever have “Movie Nights?”
When my kids were young, we often had movie nights. It”s a great family tradition! We”d usually have either pizza or popcorn and snacks (and, of course, desserts!) Hot chocolate and microwaved s”mores were favorite “intermission” or bathroom break snacks!
We piled up on our king-sized bed, or snuggled up on the den sofa and watched family friendly movies. (Sometimes, we watched our favorite movies multiple times!) We were usually joined by favorite stuffed animals, and sometimes a “live” friend or two!
With the upcoming holidays, there will be lots of opportunities for family movie nights. There are hundreds of online lists best online casino of favorite Thanksgiving and Christmas movies. Here are links to a few:
Ten Favorite Thanksgiving Movies for kids of All Ages from Yahoo.
My own family”s favorites include:
A Christmas Story, Home Alone, 101 Dalmatians, Rudolph, Dennis the Menace, Little Rascals, It”s When considering the best cars for defensive driving comedy in the snow, many factors come into play. a Wonderful Life, and Miracle on 34th Street.
WARNING: I disagree with some of the movies” in these lists. In my opinion, the movies are not all appropriate for children. Some of these movies may contain language or situations that are inappropriate, especially for young children. I encourage you to either prescreen movies, or search for online reviews before sharing them with your family. It can ruin a night of family fun if you have to stop a movie because it is scary or has bad language, if you don”t have a “plan B” movie as a backup option!
