Fall is Around the Corner

Autumn LeavesWell the Summer has disappeared. Not sure where it went and not even sure if I had the chance to accomplish everything that you look to accomplish during the Summer months but it is o-ffi-ci-al…There are only about 5 days left this Summer and Fall is coming fast. Well, while the Summer is gone and the Fall is coming I have to say that I indeed love the Fall. I love the Fall months! It may have something to do with the fact that I am a Fall baby but it is what it is. I love the fact that we can somewhat experience the true seasonal changes with all of their attributes, but Fall stands out!

So what is it that Fall means to me? The first thing that I think of is the leaves turning bright colors and falling off the trees. I think of breezy Fall days and cool nights. More time to sleep, so it seems, and the clocks “falling back”. Time to start putting away the shorts and tanks and also the bathing suits. Time to transition in to the light jackets and warmer clothing. Is there a such thing as Fall cleaning? You know, like Spring cleaning. If not then there should be. I accumulate so much junk during the Summer months and when Fall comes, it needs to be put away or thrown out.

Fall also signifies my husband’s birthday, my birthday, my anniversary and my son’s birthday. So we have a lot leading up into the Winter months, followed by Christmas, etc. . What do you love about the Fall and are there any special events or things that you like to do in the Fall months? What season(s) do you like the most? Can you suggest any family family friendly events for the Fall?…..Do Tell!!!
