CFF Contributor Resolutions

Resolution

It is that time of year!  Time to make resolutions!  Check out what the contributors of CFF are going to work on this year.

 

Rachel:

This year, I’ll shy away from the ‘Lose X number of pounds’ resolution and just stick with trying to be as healthy as possible for me and this baby i’m growing.  I may have to make some mid year exercise resolutions after baby gets here.

My official list of resolutions are as follows

1.  Remember people’s birthdays and send a card or gift on time!  I need to make one of these cute Birthday display pieces so the birthdays are staring me in the face.

2.  Keep home office clean! This is a must for 2014.  If I am to be successful in my blogging and jewelry business, I HAVE to have a clean place to get my work done.  Also, hubby needs a nice place to work when he works from home.

3.  Complete projects that have been lingering for far too long…like projects that have been on my list since moving into our house a year and a half ago.

Projects:

Finish ladder decor for downstairs bathroom

Curtains for kitchen

Grandmother’s flower garden quilt– I have to admit that i’ve been working on this quilt for more than 8 years.  It WILL be completed in 2014!

Pictures in frames.  I have many picture frames around my house that are empty.

 

Jamie:

Same three every year–sometimes I’m more successful than others! I don’t give up. I keep trying!

1. Get more organized.

2. Lose weight and become more physically fit.

3. Read the Bible through.

 

Allie:

1. Adjust to being a mama of two.

2. Try and make time for my husband and I amidst the chaos.

3.Take time to enjoy the newborn stage and not put too much pressure on myself to lose the baby weight.

4. Keep sight of #3 while making my health and fitness (not so much weight) a priority as well. Happy, healthy mama= happy family.

5. Make time for “dates” with the Goober sans newbie.

 

Julie:

My only resolution is to have a happy, healthy pregnancy!

    I am not a resolution maker. This year I just want to be the best ME I can be. 🙂 Good luck to you all on your resolutions.

    I use to make resolutions but never stuck to them and I beat myself up all the time if I don’t stick to something so I decided to just live the next year better than the last one.

    I actually don’t have any NY resolutions this year! I just want to continue on the path that I am on!

  • i wish i could remember people’s birthdays. I’m terrible at that but it’s a great resolution.

    I don’t really make “official” resolutions, but this year I am trying to be more organized, a better housekeeper, and more productive with my work.

    I wish you the best of luck on your resolutions! I haven’t had time to sit down and make any yet, but when I do I think I am going to make more “goals” than resolutions 🙂

  • I normally do resolutions, but this year I’m not. I think it’s just maintaining health that has always been a struggle so no actual resolutions this year.

  • I’m definitely not a resolution maker, but I definitely DO need to straighten up my office just like you do!

  • Ahhh keeping a clean office is so difficult! I would like to organize my office better so it’s more functional!

  • I really don’t make resolutions but I did set some goals for 2014. One of them being to get fit and have more creative time!

    I also am not making resolutions for this year. Instead I came up with a long to-do list and a word to live by – productivity.

    I love reading everyone’s resolutions. Mine is to get healthy and fit for my kids!

    I didn’t make resolutions this year, just a “plan”. I want to be available for family (kids, grandsons and parents) whenever I am needed and save time for myself and hubby too.

    This year is the first year I have made 1. It is to work-out and get into shape. I am going to try the Brazilian Butt Lift and see how it goes.
