New makeup is fun, but can get really expensive. One of my favorite gifts from this past Christmas was my Urban Decay Naked2 palette. I have been obsessively watching tutorials for different ways to use this awesome palette. I could spend many hours (and dollars) at Ulta or Sephora on any given day, but “higher end” makeup isn’t always in my budget. Today I’d like to share some great makeup you can find at your local Target or drug store. Who says you can’t find great makeup on a budget?
1. BB Cream picks
I couldn’t decide on one, so I’m including two. Both of these give natural coverage, feel nice going on, and can be used under foundation or on their own. Some BB creams have a weird scent, but these two have a nice, light scent.
2. Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup, $11.99
If you are searching for a foundation that is gentle on your skin and you don’t want to spend a lot, this is a great one to try! It also contains a 20 SPF sunscreen.
3. Sonia Kashuk Hidden Agenda Concealer, $10.49
I love that this concealer is actually a palette, so you can mix and match the shades to get it just right. It also lasts for a really long time!
4. e.l.f. eyelid primer , $1
Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE Urban Decay eyeshadow primer, but for a buck, this stuff is pretty awesome!
5. Revlon ColorStay Eyeliner, $4.99
Easy to apply and stays put all day. Plus, it’s under $5 – sounds like a winner!
6. Revlon ColorStay 16 Hour Eyeshadow, $5.99
I like this eyeshadow a lot. It’s no Naked palette, but for the price, it’s pretty awesome. I love the Moonlit quad – lots of people on pinterest and various beauty blogs say that the colors in this palette are great dupes of MAC eyeshadow (at a fraction of the cost).
7. CoverGirl LashBlast Volume Mascara, $6.99
I’ve tried a lot of different mascaras, and this one is my favorite! It doesn’t clump and you really only need one coat (two if you’re feelin’ fancy!)
8. L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Le Gloss, $5.99
I LOVE this lipgloss. It’s just the right amount of color with a pretty glossy finish. Go buy it!
9. Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick, $4.99-7.99
This lipstick is highly pigmented and feels nice on your lips. There are lots of different shades, so go pick up a few!
10. Nail Polish picks
It’s hard to pick a favorite, because the brand I choose often depends on what color I’m looking for and how much I want to spend. Some of my faves at Target are:
Essie, approx $7-9
Sinful Colors, $1.99
Sally Hansen Insta-Dri, $3.49
Revlon Nail Art, approx $4-6
