I made these excellent goodies yesterday. I love that they are baked at such a low temperature. It doesn’t heat up my whole house. And they are so easy!
Thinly slice yellow squash. You could use a mandolin or food processor if you have the right kind of attachment. I just used a nice sharp knife.
Toss sliced squash in a bit of olive oil and sprinkle with salt.
Spread sliced squash on a cookie sheet and place in a 200 degree oven and bake for 2-3 hours until golden brown.
If baked long enough, these chips are very crispy. They satisfied my craving for actual chips–minus the extra calories and general yuckiness! Yellow squash is abundant this time of year, I recommend trying this recipe!by
